David is a Medical Qigong Master with almost thirty years of experience. He has studied in depth with several different Medical Qigong Masters and Doctors of "Old School" Oriental Medicine. He is highly skilled in this form of energy medicine as well as in various forms of Chinese Massage, Body Work and Manipulation.
David is a Qigong Master Teacher
Formal Western Training:
David is a Psychology Graduate from the University of Connecticut and has worked as a Professional Counselor and Supervisor of other Counselors and Mental Health workers at Centennial Peaks Hospital in Louisville, CO.
He was an integral part of a treatment team consisting of medical doctors, nurses, social workers and other mental health professionals.
David has facilitated many psychotherapy groups and personal one on one counseling sessions for Children, "At Risk Youth" and Adults.
David has also been trained as an Emergency Medical Technician and a Medication Administration Assistant.
David spent three years at the University of Colorado studying Molecular, Cellular Biology to better understand the inner workings of the body on a cellular and biochemical level.
Teaching Acupuncturists:
David was given permission in the year 2007 by the NCCAOM, the governing body for Acupuncture in the United States to provide continuing education for Acupuncturists. He spent two years teaching workshops specifically for Acupuncture students.
David wrote an article for Acupuncture Today, entitled "Medical Qigong and Acupuncture, A Cutting Edge Combination."
Radio and News:
David has been featured on various radio programs on KGNU. He has spoken at Unity Church in Boulder. He has been featured in various newspapers around the country. He has published articles in Asian Avenue Magazine and Acupuncture Today. He has provided seminars for lay people and professionals around the country. He has produced one DVD. David's Personal Story of Healing:
When David was fifteen years old, he was in tremendous pain. He had been diagnosed with severe scoliosis and told by his doctors that he would be mostly crippled by the time he was thirty years of age.
In his search for healing, David was introduced to Chinese Medicine, Medical Qigong and Qigong meditation practices. After several years of practice coupled with regular Medical Qigong treatments, he completely healed his spine.
Not only did he heal himself, but he became a channel for very powerful healing energy or “Qi”. David’s hands and body began to “buzz’.
David has been offering this work to many people now for almost thirty years. He has been a conduit for very powerful healing energy. He has had a private practice in Boulder, Colorado for over ten years and has taught Medical Qigong workshops in Colorado and around the country, teaching lay people, acupuncturists, physicians, athletes, martial artists, massage therapists,young people ,older people everyone side by side.
In his private practice, he has had great success in treating Back and Neck Pain.
He also has had great success in treating Migraine Headaches and other forms of pain.
He has had great success in treating Sports Injuries.
He has treated many athletes, reducing and often times eradicating pain. He has worked with them not only treating their pain and other condtions but also has taught them the practice of Qigong which has been used for centuries by Shaolin Monks, Elite Military Special Forces and Olympic Athletes to super charge the body's innate protective and healing forces.
He is a very compassionate person and former counselor/therapist and uses his counseling skills coupling that with his Qigong healing to assist people with Emotional Distress and Anxiety.
He regularly assists people through “Healing Crisis” and change, be it divorce, loss of a loved one, changes in career etc.
He has successfully treated “Mysterious Illnesses” where doctors could not seem to find a diagnosis despite troubling symptoms and has successfully assisted people right alongside their physicians through various surgeries and other western medical procedures expediting the healing process.
He actually demonstrated in an experiment at the University of Colorado that he could emit a frequency of energy that would eradicate bacterial cells. He was able to do this without any physical contact.
David provided healing energy to a child with holes in his heart “like Swiss cheese” according to his doctors. He was scheduled for open heart surgery. After a series of Medical Qigong treatments his heart was healed and the surgery was cancelled. It was called a “Medical Miracle” by his physicians.
David now has his own Qigong School in Boulder, Colorado.
